BARWON HEADS, Australia (February 12, 2017) -- The week didn't end the way that Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com No. 2 wanted but it was still a good showing for Hye-Jin Choi at the Women's Victorian Open.
Choi finished the week 12 under and in fifth place but it could have been better had she not turned in an even-par 73 final day at 13th Beach Golf Links. The 2017 Australian Women's Amateur winner ended up just four shots out of a playoff at 16 under.
The round of the week for Choi came in the first round when she fired a bogey-free 5-under 68. Choi then followed that round up with tallies of 69-70.
