Georgia 4-Ball: Fober, Hammock lead after 36

Jason Fober of Fortson and Cason Hammock of Columbus shot a 2nd-round 65 to move into the lead

COLUMBUS, Ga. (April 30, 2011) -- Jason Fober of Fortson and Cason Hammock of Columbus shot a second-round 65 to move into the lead at the 40th annual Georgia Four-Ball Championship taking place at Green Island Country Club. Fober and Hammock sit at 11-under-par 131 through 36 holes, one stroke ahead of Carter Mize and Wright Waddell of Columbus. First-round leaders Chase Jones and Jayce Stepp of Cartersville carded a 70 in today's second round and are in a four-way tie for third. The field of 62 teams was cut to the low 40 and ties after Saturday's round, with the cutline fallling at 1-under 141 and 42 teams advancing. The final round of the Four-Ball Championship gets underway at 8:30 a.m. Sunday. The leaders will tee off at 10:10 a.m. from hole No. 1
