Danny Garcia goes wire-to-wire to win his hometown event

STOCKTON, Calif. Peterson won last year's event with a stellar 64 on Sunday, helping him to overcome a six-shot deficit. Garica, who was teammates with current U.S. Amateur Public Links champion Byron Meth, had a scoring average of 74 his senior year at Pacific including a top-10 finish at the Oregon Duck Invitational.
