MACON, GA (May 7, 2017) - It was a wire-to-wire victory this weekend at the Peach Blossom Invitational for the team of Stan Gann Jr. and Shawn Hodge.
Playing at Idle Hour Golf and Country Club the duo took the lead with a 6-under 64 on Friday and they never looked back as they followed it up with rounds of 66-67 to post 13-under and win their second consecutive title by four shots.
During the 54-hole event Gann Jr. and Hodge birdied 16 times while bogeying just three-times. On Sunday the pairing birdied Nos. 5, 6 and 9.
Bill Hodges and Jordan Mitchell; Donny Phillips and Chris Hall shared second place at 9-under while Adam Cooper and Jared Garrity; Hayes Brown and William Bazzel; Gay McMichael and Michael Standard shared fourth at 8-under.
