LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. (March 23, 2014) -- Jon Veneziano and Doug LaCrosse shot a final-round 65 and hung on to top Randy Elliott and Thad Hudgens by a shot at the 2014 Florida Senior/Mid-Amateur Four-Ball at Lakewood Ranch Golf Club.
Veneziano and LaCrosse led by one over the runners-up after Round 1 on Saturday and matched cards Sunday to prevail.
Rick Woulfe and Stephen Anderson, who were tied with Elliott and Hudgens after Round 1, finished alone in third, shooting 64-66.
John Hewlin and Gregg Van Lue were the other squad tied for second after the first round and closed with a 68 to finish tied for fifth place.
