On October 23 at the Confluence Classic, hosted by Whitman College at Veteran's Memorial Golf Course and Wine Valley Golf Course, The Whitworth University Women's Golf team made two double-eagles.

Sophomore Gabby Martinez and Senior Brianna McNelly posted a double-eagle score of two on the par-5 No. 7 at Wine Valley on Monday. Each holed out from about 180-190 yards away.

The day before the double-eagle, the Pirates shot a school record single round.
The Pirates finished in second place and McNelly led the team with rounds of 76-78 to finish 10-over and T7.
