WALLINGFORD, Conn. (May 27, 2014) -- Dave Szewczul shot 1-under 71 to set the pace at the 2014 Connecticut Senior Match Play Championship at The Farms Country Club. Scewczul's red-hot start puts him at the top of the bracket as match play begins Wednesday. Mike Natale and Tom Yellin finished two shots back and will be the Nos. 2 and 3 seeds. At the conclusion of play Tuesday, a projected eight players were to play for one of five final qualifyign positions after finishing at 7-over 79.
