Cole Nygren wins the Lompoc City Championship in Playoff

LOMPOC, CA (April 23, 2017) - Cole Nygren outdueled Shane Wathanasaney to win the Lompoc City Championship on Sunday at La Purisima Golf Course. Both players combined rounds of 75-73 and finished regulation tied at 148. Josh Warthen (74-77--151) was third while Keith Morales (76-76--152), Nich Thomas (74-78--152) and Spencer Koch (72-80--152) shared fourth. First round leader Jesse Yap (69-84--153) fell to a shared seventh finish. Defending champion Johnny Hogan (80-78--158) was part of a tie for 14th.
