Christovich, Harvey win by five at International Four-Ball

Patrick Christovich and Scott Harvey teamed up to shoot 20-under at The Fox Club to win by five over Chris Lange, Jr. and Jeff Osberg

PALM CITY, Fla. — Mid-Amateur standouts Patrick Christovich and Scott Harvey shot a final-round 63 at The Fox Club to win the International Four-Ball Tournament by five shots over second-place finishers Chris Lange, Jr. and Jeff Osburg. The duo shot 20-under, including rounds of 66 and 64 before closing it out with a 63 on Sunday. Lange and Osberg opened with 62, but closed with rounds of 65 and 71 to take second by a stroke over Steve Johnson and John Blackwell. Defending champions Keith Decker and Chris Reeves finished this year's event in 11th place at six-under. Harvey is off to a rocking start in 2015 after winning the 2014 U.S. Mid-Amateur. The soon-to-be Masters competitor won the South American Amateur last month in Peru. In the senior division, Vinny Giles and Jim Holtgrieve edged Alan Fadel and Doug LaCrosse, shooting a final-round 65 to win by a stroke. Giles and Holtgrieve put together rounds of 69-67-65 while Fadel and LaCrosse posted 67-68-67. In third place were Chip Lutz and Chris Lange at 67-69-67, just two strokes out of first.
