Top seed and stroke-play co-medalist Raymond Knoll was upset by No. 16 Thomas O'Bryan in the first round of match play at the 95th Chicago District Amateur at Hinsdale Golf Club

CLARENDON HILLS, Ill. (June 24, 2014) -- Top seed and stroke-play co-medalist Raymond Knoll was upset by No. 16 Thomas O'Bryan in the first round of match play at the 95th Chicago District Amateur at Hinsdale Golf Club. O'Bryan won 3 and 2, sending himself into the quarterfinal to face Kyle Kochevar, a 3 and 1 win over Kyle Nathan. Jordan Fahel knocked off No. 4 Blake Biddle for another upset and will face No. 5 Quinn Prchal Wedneday. No. 15 Brett Tomfohrde is also moving on. He beat Jack Watson 2 and 1 in first-round action. No. 14 Tim Tynan, No. 7 Tee-K Kelly and No. 6 Blake Johnson also won on Tuesday.
