CLARENDON HILLS, Ill. (June 25, 2014) -- The championship match is set at the 95th Chicago District Golf Association Amateur Championship.
At Hinsdale Golf Club, No. 13 Jordan Fahel and No. 6 Blake Johnson both won two matches Wednesday to reach the championship match.
Fahel knocked off red-shot Thomas O'Bryan, who had previously beaten the No. 1 seed, in the semifinal. He deafeated No. 5 Quinn Prchal in the morning quarterfinal.
For Johnson, he was a 3 and 2 winner over Tim Tynan in the morning before deafeating Brett Tomfohrde 6 and 5.
Thursday's championship match is slated to tee off at 8 a.m. from Hinsdale.
