LA GRANGE, Ill. (June 24, 2013) -- Bennett Lavin (Glen Club) fired a 6-under 66 in the second round to earn medalist honors at the 94th CDGA Amateur Championship at Edgewood Valley Country Club. Lavin completed the 36-hole stroke play portion at 2-under par. Blake Johnson (Exmoor CC) finished three strokes back.
Dan Stringfellow (Medinah CC) and Charlie Netzel (La Grange CC) both fired 1-under 71 to take the lead at the midpoint of stroke play in the 94th CDGA Amateur Championship at Edgewood Valley Country Club. Stringfellow was anchored by four birdies, while Netzel carded three birdies and an eagle at the par-5 first (his 10th hole).
