DANA POINT, CA (September 18, 2016) -- Chad Hambright posted rounds of 69-72 to finish 1-over and win the Orange County Amateur at Monarch Beach Golf Links.
In the first round Hambright posted two birdies and a bogey. Carrying the lead into the final round Hambright struggled a bit with a 2-over 72 but he was still able to hang on thanks to birdies on Nos. 2, 4, 9 and 13.
Dylan Hall was 3-over in second, Santiago Castilla was a distant third at 7-over, in fourth it was Ethan Heim at 8-over while Terrence Miskell was fifth at 9-over.
