Bucey and Jojola win Monterey Four-Ball by Five

It wasn't as big as his win in the Cal Am, but shooting 16 under in 36 holes will always put a smile on your face

PACIFIC GROVE, California (August 19, 2018) -- 2018 California Amateur Champion Bobby Bucey and his partner, 2018 Vallejo City Champion Domingo Jojola, backed up their 8-under opening round with yet another 8-under par round on Sunday to finish the Monterey Four-Ball at 16 under for the event, winning the event by five strokes over the team of Kevin Smith and Zach Korach.

In the net division, overnight leaders Frank Borges and Brad Pezoldt went low to finish the tournament on Sunday. After shooting a 7-under 62 in round one, the Modesto residents tore up the Pacific Grove for a 9-under par 60. Chris Allesio and Matt Brody, James Brenda and Mike Lane, Paul Lopez and Matt Trevesian, and Luis Miranda and Stephen Mort all tied for second place with 36-hole totals of 127.

In the senior division, the pairing of Pete Wlodkowski and George Kelley played another solid round, posting a 3-under 66 to win their division by seven shots.
