NINETY SIX, SC (Oct. 7, 2011) -- Josh Branyon shot nines of 36-32 for a total of four under par 68 to take the first round lead in the SCGA's Mid Amateur Championship at The Patriot Golf Club. Branyon's 68 included six birdies and one double bogey on the tough par four third hole. The 32 year old Honea Path resident holds a two shot lead over his nearest competitor, Greenville's Jeremy Revis
