AUSTIN, Tx. (July 7, 2014) -- Logan Boatner fired a third straight round of 67 and won by a shot at the 2014 Firecracker Championship at Lions Municipal.
Boatner finish a shot better than Brian Noon, a regular on the Austin amateur golf scene, who went 67-67-68 to finish solo second.
Robert Evans, Erik Henson and Alex Levy were all tied for third place, finishing three shots back of Boatner's pace.
The 54-hole individual stroke-play event draws a strong local and college field. Past winners include Tom Kite, Ben Crenshaw, and Omar Uresti.
