Bennington leads at Columbus Mid-Amateur

Craig Bennington is the only player under par after one round at the Columbus District Mid-Amateur Championship

GROVE CITY, Ohio (Aug. 19, 2013) — Craig Bennington fired a first-round 70 to open up a two-stroke lead at the Columbus District Mid-Amateur Championship. Bennington, who made all pars and one birdie en route to the tournament's only under-par round, leads by two over Kris O'Donnell and Timothy Ford. Michael Kimmett and Terry Wamack are three strokes back after 73s on Monday.
