Ben Geyer wins AGC Wine Country Cup

Geyer edged St. Mary's teammate Dalan Refioglu by one shot win under cold and wet conditions at StoneTree

NOVATO, Calif. (Jan. 27, 2013) -- Ben Geyer fired a second-round 75 and edged St. Mary's teammate Dalan Refioglu by a shot to win the 2013 Wine Country Club under cold and wet conditions at StoneTree Golf Club. Geyer led after Round 1 and hung on for the victory in the Championship Division. Tim Beranek was tied for third with Mac Marr, another member of the St. Mary's golf team, after a final-round even par 72. Ron Johnson shot a final-round 76 and made up space to win the Senior Championship. He was six shots better than Earl Stewart.
