LAKE SUZY, FL. (Jan 13, 2010) -- Mike Bell took the lead on the first day of the Kingsway Senior Invitational and never let go. Despite a 5-over par 77 today under very cold temperatures, he was able to capture the title in the Senior division with scores of 69-73-77--219. John O'Malley (71-74-77--22) and Tim Miller (71-75- 76--222) were three strokes back to share second place. The country's number 1 ranked player and local Floridian, Bill Zylstra, was solo third with scores of 74-72-77--223. |

In the Super Senior division it was all knotted at the end of regulation. George Owens (68-82-77--227) of Virginia Beach, VA was able to prevail over Mike Howell (75-74-78--227) of Fort Meyers, Fl with a par on the first playoff hole to take the title. Joe Povoni of Prospect, Ky claimed third place by himself with scores of 74-78-78--230 while Gary Strickfaden from Southern Pines, NC was fourth with a total of 79-76-78--233. |

In the Legends division Ron Clayton (76-82-77--235) from Sarasota, Fl. was able to bounce back after a difficult second round to win the title. Curtis Wagner from Peachtree, GA took second place with scores of 81-78--237. In third place was local player Lake
