Bales/Lareau Triumph in Richmond Senior Four Ball

Greg Bales and Rick Lareau go bogey-free to hold off two other teams who finished one shot behind the leaders

The team of Greg Bales and Rick Lareau posted a 6-under-par 66 at Magnolia Green Golf Club to win the Richmond Golf Association Senior Four-Ball Championship. Bales and Lareau played bogey-free golf and finished one stroke clear of the Frank Pegram-Paul Sinclair and Greg Marbold-Bob Wiedmann sides. Steve and Len Isaacs were another stroke back with 68. Mark Lawrence-David Norman (69) was the other tandem to shoot in the 60s in the senior division. The Super Seniors division had co-champions. John Cuomo-Jay Pickus and Chris Ward-Ronnie Adams returned 4-under 68s.
