Ault leads Penn. Mid-Am after 1st-round 67

Christopher Ault's 67 was one of five rounds under par as a solid field took aim at the association's 19th Middle-Amateur title

LAFAYETTE HILL, Penn. (Sept. 10, 2012) -- Christopher Ault fired a sizzling 5-under 67 to take a two-shot lead over Jack Wallace heading into Round 2 at the 2012 Pennsylvania Mid-Amateur at The Ace Club. Ault's 67 was one of five rounds under par as a solid field took aim at the association's 19th Middle-Amateur title. One shot behind Wallace's 3-under 69 was Jeff Frazier (2-under, 70). Todd Vonderheid and Thomas Timby Jr. are tied for fourth at 1-under.
