MONTEREY, Calif. — A second day of overcast and windy conditions had leaders faltering and the pack charging on Bayonet's Blackhorse course. Soon-to-be University of San Francisco junior Kraig James McLeod turned a shaky day one with the putter into a great day two. His 149-total (79-70) gave him a one-shot victory over John Greco and Ryan Gronlund.
McLeod made three birdies and one bogey on Sunday and in his own words was "a way better putter and driver of the golf ball."
The Senior and Net flights were both wire-to-wire victories as Mitch Harrison and Charles Balisha were able to take home the championship. Harrison shot 147 (75-72) for a six-shot victory over Jeff Britton and David Ujihara. Balisha shot net 141 (70-71) to win by two over Kevin Logan.
