MARENGO, Ill. (Sept. 16, 2013) -- Danny Brown, Dave Ryan and Mark Jason are tied for the lead at the 2013 Illinois State Senior Amateur.
The trio shot 1-under 71 in Monday's first round and are a shot better than Ken Larney, who's alone in fourth place heading into the second round of the 54-hole championship at Blackstone Golf Club.
Bruce Jacobsen, Brad Barker and Chris Beto are all tied for fifth place at 1-over hoping to make a move on Day 2.
