How do you get your college-golf-on-TV fix in the fall? There’s really only one way: the East Lake Cup.
The historic East Lake Club in Atlanta plays host to the top four programs from the previous year’s NCAA Championship. They do battle in a match-play format in front of TV cameras, just a day after Tiger Woods claimed his 82nd victory (technically it's the same day, since he won on Monday in Japan).
The East Lake Cup debuted in as a two day event in 2015; it has grown in popularity and is now contested over three days.
GOLF Channel will air live coverage of all three days of the championship from 3-6 p.m. ET. (The detailed schedule of TV times is shown at the bottom of this article.)
Duke, which won the NCAA Women’s Championship, will be in the women’s field. Wake Forest’s women will appear as the reigning NCAA runners-up.
“We are very honored by the invitation to participate in our first East Lake Cup,” said Wake Forest men’s golf coach Jerry Haas. “It is one of the great showcase events of collegiate golf and we look forward to competing on that stage. We feel like we are one of the top teams in the country and we appreciate the opportunity to challenge ourselves against three other elite teams on one of the best golf courses in the country.”

Wake Forest – 2019 NCAA quarterfinalists, current top-ranked team in the country

Duke – 2019 NCAA national champions; 2016 East Lake Cup champions
Auburn - 2019 NCAA semifinalists
Wake Forest – 2019 NCAA national championship runners-up, current top-ranked team in the country
Arizona – 2018 NCAA national champions, 2019 NCAA semifinalists
TV TIMES
Live coverage will be on Golf Channel from 3-6 p.m. ET Monday through Wednesday with replays of the day’s competition in prime time. Golf Central and Morning Drive will also feature live coverage.
