The Sir Henry Cooper Junior Championships is a 3-round championship for players under 18 (as of 1st January), featuring separate boys' and girls' competitions with approximately 20% girls in the field. Maximum field: 144 players. Handicap requirements: 2.4 max for boys, 5.4 max for girls (WHI at point of draw).
Round 1 (Day 1): Mixed match groups of 3, two-tee start, AM/PM sessions, 10-minute tee times. Round 2 (Day 2): Reverse of Day 1 (AM plays afternoon, PM plays morning). Round 3 (Day 3): Mixed groups of 3, two-tee start. Top half plays afternoon; leaders start from 1st tee in descending order (highest score first, lowest last).
