Amateur Golf Podcast: Walker Cup preview with Jordan Perez

Jordan Perez joins the pod to talk about storylines, alternate shot pairings, and ways the Walker Cup could be improved

The Walker Cup gets underway on Saturday at St. Andrews. The Biennial event brings the best amateur golfers from the United States and Great Britain and Ireland together for two days of competitive golf.

This year marks the 100-year anniversary of the first time the Walker Cup was played at St. Andrews in 1913.

On this episode of The Amateur Golf Podcast, Jordon Perez joins Sean Melia to talk about the Walker Cup. First, they catch up on some lingering thoughts from the U.S. Amateur on both the women's and men's sides. Then they go through some storylines from this week's Walker Cup, team selections, alternate shot pairings they'd like to see, and what improvements they would make to the Walker Cup.
