No. 1 seed South Carolina and No. 2 seed Auburn were both upset in the quarterfinals, clearing the path for the rematch
Just like in 2023, Texas A&M and Mississippi State will face off in the SEC Women's Golf Championship final match at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Fla.
This time around, Mississippi State will be looking for a different result.
The quarterfinals provided maximum entertainment, with No. 1 seed South Carolina falling to No. 8 seed LSU 3-2-0 and No. 2 seed Auburn falling to No. 7 seed Georgia 3-1-1. Elsewhere in the quarterfinals, No. 4 Mississippi State took down No. 5 Kentucky 3-1-1, and No. 3 seed Texas A&M took down No. 6 seed Arkansas 3-1-1.
In the semifinals, with the two top seeds already taken down, the stage was set for the top two remaining seeds to set up the rematch.

No. 4 Mississippi State defeated No. 8 LSU 3-1-1, while No. 3 Texas A&M defeated No. 7 Georgia 3-2-0.
For Mississippi State, Izzy Pellot and Avery Weed were both 2-0, while stroke play champion Julia Lopez Ramirez was 1-0-1. For Texas A&M, Cayetana Fernandez Garcia-Poggio, Blanca Fernandez Garcia-Poggio, and Adela Cernousek were all 2-0 on the day.

Ingrid Lindblad, the No. 1 ranked golfer in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com Women's Rankings, went 1-0-1, tying with Lopez-Ramirez in the semifinal matchup.
