JUNO BEACH, Florida (April 23, 2015) -- At Seminole Golf Club, The George L. Coleman Invitational is underway.

A Coleman invitation is one of the most coveted in the competitive amateur game.

In the Mid-Am Division, Mike McCoy of Iowa posted 69 to take a one shot lead over Arnold Cutrell (Pennsylvania). McCoy is the No. 2 ranked player in the AmateurGolf.com Mid-Am rankings, recently unveiled in "beta" version. (Follow the rankings links to see the complete listings.)

In the Senior-Am Division, Virginian Vinny Giles (pictured upper left) was also impressive, firing 70 to take a one shot lead over Alan Fadel of Ohio.

ABOUT THE Coleman Invitational

One of the very best amateur events all year long played on the last great private course designed by Donald Ross. The course, not long by today's standards, lies hard by the Atlantic Ocean. Oceanic winds and very fast greens give this course teeth. Ben Hogan once said "If you can play Seminole, you can play any course in the world."
