Brett Coletta nearly won a professional event plus a whole lot more
(November 14, 2016) -- At the College All-America Classic LSU's Sam Burns used a big final day to take home the title against a talented field.
Last week our Sam Dostaler got to a chance to talk to Joseph Deraney about his fantastic season and his ascent to the top of the mid-amateur game.
Australian Brett Coletta continued to show the world that he means business. A short time after winning the the Queensland Open he nearly did the same at the New South Wales Open.
Over the weekend the Argentine Amateur concluded and in a rain shortened final Herik Machado de Oliveira claimed the title.

-The weekend started with a title defense by Doug Hanzel and Jack Hall at the Georgia Senior Four-Ball-Tadd Brown began the final round tied for the lead but he was able to shake free and win the Charleston City Senior -The teams ended in a tie and as a result the North retained the Jackie Burke Cup-At the Chanticleer National Four-Ball Matt Hayes and Garland Ferrell took home the title-With some impressive play the Canebrake Country Club has won the John Bryan Cup Team Club Championship
This week begins the Dixie Amateur season. Up first is the Senior Dixie Amateur set to begin on Tuesday.
