Golf nuts aren’t the only ones excited about the start of the U.S. Open this week at Merion Golf Club. Equipment manufacturers and other golf product companies are showing their patriotism in this, the week of our national championship by unveiling special edition U.S. Open products.

Here’s a look at some of the more stars-and- stripes worthy special products ripe for the taking by you, the patriotic golfer:

Jones Sports Co. Original Jones U.S. Open Bag

Red, white and blue just look better in a minimal design, don’t they? They sure do on this limited edition version of the original Jones Golf carry bag. The new Jones bag is everything you loved about the original and has been remade using the toughest modern-day ballistic nylon and vinyl, featuring only a single strap and no stand. The bags are open to orders now and will ship June 24.

USA Versa #7 Putter by Odyssey

Odyssey took to the web last week to unveil its special edition (and limited, I might add) USA Versa #7 putter, which features a red, white and blue head. The goal behind the release was to offer something patriotic with the model, which has been a favorite among tour players. The high- contrast provided by the blue alignment line helps inform you from address through impact --- and shows off your true colors!jo

Kentwool Limited Edition U.S. Open Sock

For the second straight year, Kentwool will release a limited-edition sock to celebrate the U.S. Open. Bubba Watson will be wearing them this week at Merion and you can too! The socks are made of merino wool and fibers that combine into a micro-climate system for plenty of moisture wicking comfort. The red, white and blue socks are available for $19.95 per pair.
