Kansas Four-Ball: Familiar names atop leaderboard
LAWRENCE, Kan. (June 3, 2013) -- Familiar names are at the top of the leaderboard following round one of the 25th Kansas Four-Ball Championship at Alvamar Golf Course in Lawrence.
In the Open Division, Kit Grove & Jason Seeman lead following an opening round 7-under par 65. 2011 Four-Ball champions Harry Higgs & Park Ulrich are one shot back after 6-under par 66 in the first round.
In the Masters Division, KGA veterans Conrad Roberts & David Rismiller teamed up for a 3-under par 69 and share the lead with the out-of-state duo of Steve Sassman & Steve Galko.
The second round of stroke play qualifying will begin at 8:00 am on Tuesday at Alvamar Golf Course.
Following the second round, the field will be cut down to the low 16 teams in the Open Division and the low 8 teams in the Masters Division for a single elimination four-ball match play bracket.

Must be a member of the Kansas Golf
Association. 36 holes of four-ball stroke play (gross
scoring only) with two divisions: Open (players of
any
age) and Masters (both players age 30+). Champion
to
be determined in each division.
