Santa Barbara City: Gama takes lead
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (May 26, 2013) -- Brandon Gama shot a first-round 66 and leads all players at the 2013 Santa Barbara City Championship at Santa Barbara Golf Course.
Gama is one shot up on Allen Geiberger, Brett Silvernail, James Morton, James Camaione and John Pate, who all shot 67s to begin play.
Drew Miller, Michael Pugh and Steve Lam are all in striking distance, just two shots off the lead.
Defending champion Brian Helton is tied for 10th just three back alongside Kevin Marsh.

championship by flights, maximum
handicap 16.0 for men, 34.9 for women (women play
net competition only).
The field is cut after 36 holes to the low 30% plus ties.
