Claude Harmon Invitational: Final Results
HOUSTON, TX (April 30, 2006)--Jeff New defeated Pat Youngs 3&2 in the final of the Claude Harmon Invitational at Lochinvar Golf Club in Houston.
New advanced to the final by beating Bob Kearney in the semifinal on Saturday. Youngs beat Houston Rockets basketball player Jon Barry in the other semifinal.

ABOUT THE Claude Harmon Invitational
Invitational flighted match play event honoring
Claude Harmon, who was the golf Professional
Emeritus at Lochinvar when the club opened.
There are six flights of 16 players, with
consolation brackets and a one-day medal
competition for those who are eliminated from
match play. An 18-hole qualifier is held for the
Harmon (Championship) Flight.
To be considered for the field, a player must
be recommended by someone already in the
field, or be invited by the tournament
committee.
