Kentucky Spring Sr. Special: Humphrey wins it
23 Apr 2013
GOSHEN, Kent. (April 23, 2013) -- Members gathered to kick off 2013 Tournament play at Harmony Landing Country Club with the annual Spring Special.

Beautiful weather greeted players upon arrival and stuck around throughout the day to make for pleasant playing conditions for both the morning and afternoon waves of tee times.

The Association launched a new offering this season allowing Mid-Senior golfers aged 40-54 playing opportunities in all specials. This offering was well received by players across the state and we hope to continue to grow our numbers as the season takes shape.

A large field of 153 players competed over Harmony Landings 35-36 Par 71 layout for both gross and net prizes.

The highlight of the day came from Leland Hulbert of Prospect as he aced the Par 3 16th hole!

The low round of the day was recorded by Steve Humphrey of Lexington after firing an even par 71.

The KSGA’s next event will be May 13-14 at University Club of Kentucky for the Two-Man Team Championship.
