Australian Senior: Defending champ Albinski wins
SYDNEY, Australia (Oct. 31, 2012) -- Defending champion Stefan Albinski (NSW) has won the 2012 Australian Men's Senior Match Play Championship at Twin Creeks Golf and Country Club in Sydney after a 4&3 victory over Richard Greville (NSW).

Mona Vale Golf Club member Albinski, who also won in 2009, defeated Greville to win his third Men's Senior Match Play title. He has also won three Australian Men's Senior Amateur titles. In the Super Senior section, Allan Fensom (NSW) defeated Jack Parker (NSW) 3&2.

The Australian Men's Senior Match Play Championship is open to the leading 32 players from the Australian Men's Senior Ranking System; and a Super Senior Section for the leading 8 players aged 65 years and over.

It is played over two and a half days, with players who are eliminated from the main championship progressing to consolation flights.
