N. Carolina Four-Ball: Robinson/Harrell lead
WALLACE, N.C. (Oct. 26, 2012) -- A windy first round at the 17th North Carolina Four-Ball Championship at River Landing (River Course) in Wallace, NC finished with the team of Jason Robinson and Logan Harrell leading with an impressive eight under par 64. Robinson and Harrell carded eight birdies and no bogies on the round.
One shot back are brothers Brian & Mark Gauley who carded a seven under par 65. Defending champions David Donovan and Jonathan Miles are six shots back tied for 16th. The current Carolinas Four-Ball Champions, Matt Crenshaw and Blair Bowland are four back at 68.
The status of tomorrows round will depend on the path of hurricane Sandy and a call will be made in the morning once more information is available.

Open to any male amateur golfer 13 or older. Must
be
a
resident of North Carolina and a
member of a CGA member club. Format is 54 holes
of
four-ball stroke play with a cut to the low 30 scores
and ties.
