Kentucky Sr. Fall Special: Long wins it
LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (Sept. 18, 2012) -- Dennis Long of Shelbyville overcame the elements of a cool and wet day at Lake Forest Country Club to win the Low Gross honors of the KSGA Fall Special. As the sun came out and the weather warmed up, so did Long’s game.
He fired a 69, featuring 5 birdies and one bogey and a solid 33 on his finishing nine. Christopher Hill of Danville won the Low Net also with a score of 69 and Steve Humphrey of Lexington continued his great play this season, also carding a back nine 33 to finish at 2-under par 70 and 2nd Low Gross for the event.
Across the Flights, all scores were very close and there were many scorecard playoffs. This shows the strength of the field and we thank all of our participants.
