Rhode Island Stroke Play: Randall beats Blanchard
CRANSTON, R.I. (Aug. 1, 2012) -- Alpine's Jamison Randall is the 29th Stroke Play Championship.
In a classic battle of two of the best players in Rhode Island Jamison Randall and Charlie Blanchard battled back and forth all day. Each player had the lead during the last nine holes until Charlie hit his second shot on the 54th hole over the green and didn't get up and down for par. Jamison hit his second shot on the green and two putted for the win.
In the Senior division Quidnessett's George Donnell won by 8 strokes over Carnegie Abbey's Mike Schmidt. George shot 1 under par 71 in the third round to pull away from the field.
