Tony, Joey Behrstock lead SCGA Foursomes
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (March 26, 2012) -- Tony (Los Angeles) and Joey Behrstock (Beverly Hills, CA) lead the 10th annual Southern California Golf Association Foursomes Championship after first-round play.
The Behrstock's shot even-par 72 at North Ranch Country Club and hold a one shot advantage over two teams.
Tom Hogarth (Northridge, CA) and Corby Segal (Santa Clarita, CA) shot 1-over 73 in the first round and sit tied in second place with Mark Miller (West Covina, CA) and Dan Sullivan (Pasadena, CA).
The team of Jeff Johnston (Agoura Hills, CA) and Daniel Ragsdale (Thousand Oaks, CA) are tied in fourth place with amateurgolf.com Player Staff Program member Brent Brockermeyer (Los Angeles) and Dick Engel (Lancaster, CA).
Final round play begins Tuesday morning.

ABOUT THE SCGA Foursomes
This event is open to two-person teams (partners
are
not required to be from the same club) with each
member having a handicap index of 7.4 and below.
The
format is alternate shot with one player teeing off
from
the odd numbered holes and the partner teeing off
from the even holes. The championship is a 36-hole
event, there is no qualifying as all entries are on a
first
come, first served basis.
