North Carolina Mid-Am: Westveer win first CGA title
DAVIDSON, NC (Sept. 11, 2011) -- All his peers know that when it comes down to fairways and greens hit in regulation, there is none better than Brian Westveer. The only part of his game that has held him back is decent putting. It finally happened at River Run CC, three days of two putts and making the short ones for birdie gives Brian his first CGA title exactly 10 years to the day regaining his amateur status.
