West Virginia Women's Am: DiDomenico wins by one

VIENNA, W. V. (Aug. 12, 2011) --Follansbee’s Samantha DiDomenico made a charge during the final round of the Women’s Am to pull ahead by one stroke, defeating Ona’s Brooke Bellomy. The Marshall University golfer shot an impressive 10-under-par 210 for the tournament.
Bellomy finished the tournament runner-up, while Shepherdstown’s Kimberly Eaton finished in third. Defending Champion, Nicolle Flood-Sawczyszyn finished in the fourth place position. Bridgeport’s Deb Reif won the First Flight after a four-hole playoff with Beckley’s Claytina Shepherd. Middleburg, Va.’s Laurie Quinn won the Second Flight and Vienna’s Susan Rogers was the Runner-up.

active GHIN Handicap Index through a WVGA
Member
Club. Format is 54-holes of stroke play. Upon
conclusion of Round 2, players will be flighted. Each
