WESTLAKE VILLAGE, (August 29, 2005) -- John McClure of Austin, Tex., fired a 4-under-par 68 early this afternoon and watched it stand up for a one-shot lead after 36 holes in the 22nd Southern California Golf Association (SCGA) Mid-Amateur Championship at North Ranch Country Club.
