Women's Southern Am: Nielson stays strong

WOODSTOCK, Georgia (June 9, 2011) -- Calle Nielson was the only under par golfer in the Monday qualifier and no one has come close to her since the first match.

In her two matches today she dispensed with Ket Preamchuen from Kennesaw State and then took control early and downed Furman’s Laura Wearn in the afternoon semi-finals.

On the other side of the bracket Meagan Roberts from University of Arkansas prevailed in two close matches edging out Jordan Britt from University of Tennesee-Chattenooga and then took out University of Alabama golfer, Hannah Collier 2 up in the semi-finals.
