CARSON CITY, NV (May 22, 2011) -- Kirk Schwoyer won the 2011 Northern Nevada Senior Championship in a playoff over Jeffrey Duncan. Despite carding the low round of the day, a bogey on the final would leave Duncan with a 2-under par 70, and in a playoff that he would eventually lose to Schwoyer, the first round leader.

Dick Wenzel came in third with scores of 67-74--141 and Cory Bedell was alone in fourth place with scores of 70-75--145.

In the Senior Blue Net Division, Tom Nance came out on top with scores of 65-69--133.

In the Senior Sliver Net Division, Ron Percivalle (64-73--137) won by a single shot over Wayne Thompson (65-73--138)
