Gregorski and Mezel Win Two-Man Team Championship

KAUKAUNA, WI (Sept. 21, 2010) -- Robert Gregoski from the North Shore Golf Club and Gary Menzel from The Bog GC used strong second and third rounds to take the WSGA 2-Man Team Championship at Fox Valley Golf Club in Kaukauna.

One shot behind was second place finishers were Kenny Rucker from Eau Claire Golf & Country Club and Maxwell Hosking from the Bridges Golf Course.

Matt Behm from Janesville Riverside Golf Club and partner Don Horn from Yahara Hills Golf Course took solo third.

ABOUT THE Wisconsin Two-Man

Competition will be 18 holes bestball (Four-ball) on Sunday afternoon, 18 holes alternate shot (Foursomes) on Monday morning and gross score (Individual Stroke Play) for each team member on Monday afternoon. This will give a 72-hole score for each team. The winning team will be the team with the lowest score for the combined four 18 hole scores.

Entries are open to all amateur male golfers who have attained age 19, are affiliated with a WSGA member club, which is interpreted to mean - a team member must be eligible to participate in a member club or golf course's Championship events. Team members are NOT required to be from the same club but must have a MAXIMUM combined WSGA/USGA HANDICAP INDEX OF 12.0.
