Roberts Leads Kentucky Open
LEXINGTON, KY (August 4, 2010) -- Andy Roberts may want to play in every tournament hosted by Lexington Country Club. He obviously loves the golf course as his victory in the KGA Mid-Amateur Championship a couple of years ago will attest. Now, he has taken a four shot lead after completion of the second round with a 6 under par 66 on what may be the hottest day of the year in Lexington.
Brandon Brown and Patrick Vadden are tied as low professionals at this point of the tournament with identical 3 under par 141. Another shot back is Ben Fuqua of Danville playing in his first golf tournament as a pro.
The final round begins at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
