West Fargo's Tom Hoge won the Pine to Palm Championship on Sunday, besting New Zealand native and University of Minnesota golfer Thomas Campbell.

Hoge topped Anderson 3 and 1. He was 4-up after 14 holes, but Campbell came back with two birdies on par-4s on the 15th and 16th holes to bring the deficit down to 2-up for Hoge.

It wasn't enough as Campbell's drive on the par-3 17th landed in the bunker to the right of the green, while Hoge hit his drive just forward of the pin.

Hoge missed his putt, but Campbell's shot out of the bunker didn't make it in. Campbell conceded the hole to end the tournament.

Fargo's Jay Olafson beat Kent Fronk 3 and 2 to take the first-ever Mid Am title.

T.L. Solien beat out Detroit Lakes' William Blake 2 and 1 for the Senior division title. It's the first title for Solien as he was runner up in 2007.
