MOON VALLEY, Arizona (May 1, 2009) -- The MV3 Invitational, one of the most unique formats in amateur golf, wrapped up on Friday May 1. The tournament features three man teams who play a scramble, then best 2 of 3 balls over two days. It is among the most popular events in Arizona, and perhaps the best run event in the state.
The winning team of Camron Howell, Russell May, John Davis broke the day one tournament scoring record that had stood fast for 27 years with their 16-under 56.
