The team of Wayne Depaulo, David Forkel, Jack Miller and Nick Whitney maintained their first-round lead to hold off four other teams tied in runner-up place three strokes behind.

Swing Hard followed up their first round net 20-under-par round at Spyglass Hill with a net 14-under-par 130, for a 254 total. The team gave credit to Depaulo’s solid final-round play that kept them in the game but agreed that it was a team effort, Miller commented after the round, “whatever we did, we did it right!”

The four teams tied at net 31-under-par were the Northgate GC team of Jeff Lacorte, Jose Guillermo, Ben Colomo and Leonardo Alfonso, Sacramento Federal Emp. GC team of Jeffrey Black, Wence Galindo, Mark Patterson and Greg Sawyer, Dot Squad’s Aaron Lanting, Tim Proschold, Craig Anderson and Rod Ditler, the Northgate team of Leonardo Alfonso, Ben Coloma, Jose Guillermo and Jeff Lacorte and the BDGE GC team of Michael Buchanan, Tom Levis, Aaron Lanting and Tim Proschold.

The Sacramento Federal Emp. team succeeded in the playoff to claim runner-up place, while the other teams tied in third.

The event, a result of local and sectional qualifying culminating in the championship at Spyglass Hill and Poppy Hills, is played utilizing the best two of four net scores per hole and is open to all NCGA Associate Clubs (clubs without real estate).
