Tulsa secured the title with a team score of 8-under 856, finishing two strokes ahead of South Florida at 6-under 858 at the Dale McNamara Invitational, played out at Golf Club of Oklahoma in Broken Arrow, Okla.

Tulsa shot rounds of 283-285-288, while South Florida shot rounds of 292-279-287.

UTSA finished in third place at 4-under, and Colorado State finished in fourth place at 2-under.

In the individual competition, Camryn Carreon, a senior at UTSA, shot rounds of 69-68-67 to register her school-record fourth career victory to guide the UTSA women’s golf team to third place.

Carreon clinched her fourth individual title as a Roadrunner and secured her second consecutive tournament win with a remarkable 12-under-par total of 204 for the calendar year.

She began the week on a strong note, carding a 7-under 69-68—137 on Monday. The senior golfer from San Antonio continued her impressive performance, posting a 5-under 67 in the final round, which propelled her from third place to the top of the leaderboard. Carreon finished the tournament with a two-shot lead over Kelli Ann Strand of Nebraska, who compiled a 10-under 206 with rounds of 70-66-70.

Carreon's victory not only secured her place as the sole record-holder for the most career wins by a Roadrunner, surpassing her previous tie with Fabiola Arriaga and Julie Houston, but it also matched her sophomore teammate Daniela Abonce for the second-best 54-hole total in program history.

The record she still holds is the remarkable 14-under 202 she achieved while winning the Trinity Forest Invitational in March.

Impressively, Carreon has now delivered eight consecutive par-or-better rounds, along with seven sub-70 scorecards out of nine rounds this fall, resulting in an impressive season stroke average of 69.1
